I've decided to paint my heart patina blue, because it has been tarnished and weathered and no longer retains its red hue. It's been through so much physically and emotionally recently that I feel so honored to wake up each morning and feel its presence... I've always admired items that have a patina, it illustrates to me that no matter how distressed you become, you still can have some character about yourself.

you know, i had to look up patina blue. although it has a weathered appearance, it is still quite beautiful...
